Global Sales Manager (Export Area Manager)

Our business partner which operates in nutritional supplement sector is looking for a Global Sales Manager



Your Tasks

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global export sales strategy aligned with company goals.


  • Identify new international markets and opportunities for business expansion


  • Research and analyze global market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to drive sales growth.


  • Build and manage relationships with key distributors, agents, and partners in target international markets.


  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with international distributors and clients to expand market share.


  • Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales approaches and identify areas for growth.


  • Achieve and exceed sales unit and profitability targets for the dedicated markets given responsibility.


  • Develop and execute sales plans, including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and campaigns tailored to local market conditions.


  • Track sales performance and ensure continuous improvement through effective reporting and analysis.


  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key international clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.


  • Act as the primary point of contact for international clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.


  • Provide customers with product information, training, and support as needed to ensure effective use of products and services.


  • Oversee export documentation, shipping, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.


  • Work closely with internal logistics, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth export operations and adherence to international laws.


  • Monitor and manage the logistics process to ensure on-time delivery of products to international markets.


  • Stay up-to-date on product offerings and innovations to effectively communicate features, benefits, and competitive advantages to international clients.


  • Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams to improve product offerings based on customer insights and market demands.


  • Develop sales forecasts for international markets and provide regular updates to senior management on progress.


  • Prepare sales reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify trends that affect sales performance.


  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market share, pricing strategies, and competitor activity.


  • Ensure compliance with export regulations, tariffs, trade restrictions, and other international legal requirements.


  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with international sales, including currency fluctuations, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory changes.


  • Work closely with marketing, finance, product development, and legal teams to ensure alignment of global sales efforts with overall business objectives.


  • Collaborate with other regional sales teams to share best practices and leverage opportunities for joint ventures or partnerships.


Your Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus


  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in international sales, export management, or business development, preferably in a B2B environment


  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing export sales in global markets


  • Strong knowledge of international trade laws, export documentation, customs regulations, and logistics.


  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills in English & Turkish


  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with international distributors, customers, and partners.


  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.


  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, especially for key markets.


  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.


  • Ability to work independently and travel internationally as needed.
