Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

Our multinational business partner which operates as a home improvement retailer is looking for a "Senior Financial Reporting Specialist" for their Istanbul sourcing office.

• Management of monthly/quarterly financial reporting to Group Financial Control in London in accordance with IFRS
• Preparation and submission of monthly IFRS report and management P&L reports as required
• Analysis of actual performance vs. budget / forecast
• Preparation the annual budget, forecasts and outlooks requiring direct interface with senior stakeholders in Istanbul and Group Commercial FP&A team in London
• Preparation of monthly local Management Team Report including necessary financial information and to provide challenge and insights where appropriate
• Supporting development and implementation of policies and procedures and appropriate internal controls
• Ensuring that group policies (GNFR, DOA..) are effectively communicated to local stakeholders and implemented effectively
• Managing local bank operations and intercompany settlements effectively alongside Senior Accounting Specialist
• Cash flow management & weekly payment submission
• Taking active role in finance related / ad hoc projects

• Qualification with over 5 years relevant experience with a prior and/or current experience in a multinational work environment
• IFRS know-how is required
• Fluency in both written and verbal English
• Good technical background and able to manage all reporting requirements
• Strong analytical skills with a high degree of commercial awareness and understanding
• Ability to communicate, challenge and influence credibly to different teams members across and at all levels within the organisation
• Excellent presentational skills
