Shops Retail Director

Your Tasks

Our multinational business partner which operates as a food retailer is looking for a "Shops Retail Director" responsible for defining the vision for retail and adding strategic value to the retail stores.



  • Establishing the strategic direction of retail over the next 3 years, working closely with local and global leadership teams to define the vision and set the roadmap behind this
  • Defining store design innovation strategy of retail stores, driving new and innovative ways to link the digital e-commerce experience in store
  • Overseeing and defining store expectations and ensuring online customer experience is reflected within the retail stores
  • Leading and managing a senior Retail team, providing clear objectives and direction their career growth
  • Embodying, defining and innovating within all stores, come up with new ideas and concepts aligned with the global blueprints
  • Collaborating with relevant leadership teams to implement new initiatives, ideas and improvements in order to enhance retail team capability as well as the customer experience in store
  • Ensuring the Retail team are clear on objectives and outcomes and are owning, measuring and sharing key in store metrics, impacts and learnings
  • Full P&L responsibility for the current retail business, to understand and interrogate key financial data for future expansion
  • Leveraging existing retail relationships by building solid connections within the industry for business requirements
  • Implementing and developing a future strategy for hiring needs, including growth of current team
  • Identifing any future retail business opportunities for existing locations and for expansion

Your Qualifications


  • Proven track record of leading fast-growing Retail teams with an expanding presence in the Turkish retail market
  • Experience and exposure to a direct-to-consumer brand that has a strong multichannel retail & e-commerce presence, ideally within the food industry
  • Experienced in expansion & sales growth
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English is a must
  • Innovative, connected and engaged mindset with changing retail & product landscape
  • Ability to create new business models to support strategic initiatives from the ground up
  • Strong stakeholder management skills showcasing credibility and strong communication skills
  • Solid leadership skills with a high degree of commercial awareness and understanding
