Controlling Specialist

Our multinational business partner which operates in automotive industry is looking for a “Controlling Specialist”

• Preparing budgets and forecasts as required by the group policies

• Maintaining data quality by controlling accuracy of data provided

• Performing month-end closing and management reporting activities

• Performing as Local Key User for SAP CO modul

• Responsible for the preparation of IFRS BS & P&L and additional group monthly reporting package with all details and derivatives

• Ensuring compliance of financial statements with group policies in accordance with IFRS

• Checking the consistency, accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting data

• Providing periodic responses to questions and inquiries from HQ

• Working directly with HQ Controllers on all relevant issues

• Being the contact person for all internal stakeholders about financial topics

• Performing cost analysis, reconciliation of various inputs and cost center analyses

• Controlling accounting functions and expenditure (OpEx-CapEx)

• Performing detailed budget variance analysis vs actual/forecast/prior year with explanation and commentary

• Preparing comprehensive standard and ad-hoc reports for Group and local needs

• Preparing and developing simulation tools for all operative transactions with financial impact

• Supporting all financial projects

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering departments

• Min 2-3 years of working experience in reporting & budgeting, planning & analysis

• Fluency in English both written and spoken

• Native level Turkish is a must

• Strong analytical and problem solving & negotiation skills, communication skills and high sense of responsibility

• Advance knowledge of MS Office applications especially in Excel

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Willing to work intensely with top management

• Knowledge about IFRS accounting

• System knowledge (Power BI, SAP)
